So I was on an excursion with a couple of chicks when
this stray dog became partial to us. Although we gave
her no food (because we had none), she followed us
for about an hour for over 2 miles or so, keeping by
our side. She even crossed the street to a grassy
area to take a crap (because on our side of the
street, it was all concrete) but then recrossed the
street to continue with us. At some point we wandered
into a dog pack's territory and the pack came out to
chase the intruder (our dog), but luckily they let
her pass. (see video in movies section) As she
continued to follow us she almost got ran over when
we crossed the street, but she was lucky and barely
missed getting creamed. So finally after all that we
went to a local supermarket to get some sausages to
feed her. Hopefully she had a very happy moment in
her day. We lost her when we stepped into a
restaurant to eat. She was gone by the time we came
out of the restaurant.

Classic vs Classic Paul
Well, I had a fun job. Not that I would use this in
my portfolio, but it was fun to shoot. Seems like I'm
constantly getting jobs that have to do with people
making faces. I suppose my past fashion shoots has
had humor in it, but the humor was more spiteful and
sarcastic. It seems that people are hiring me and
taking that humor and watering it down. But I guess
that's what it is when you get hired to do something
for someone else. Buviet! Means "Oh Well" or "Shit
Happens."
The Max Fish Coincidence
Sounds like a band.... So I shot this sort of
conceptual series for this new magazine I'm working
with. The results weren't bad, but the conceptual
part was already kind of predetermined before I got
the job, which takes the fun out of things for me.
But I managed to add a little of my flavor and pulled
out this shot that I do like. This guy is a fashion
designer named Max Chernitsov and he likes fishing
and fishes. Max Fish? Get it. If you don't, never
mind.
Victory Day, May 9th
So in the interest of our reemergence to the
commitments made by those of our fallen comrades, we
acknowledge them on this glorious day that
reinvigorates our own commitments to assure that the
US of A is kept in check with it's imperial agenda.
Long live Mother Russia! Shot for Esquire: SIgn says
more or less, "Mother Country: You should defend it!"
It's part of a fashion story of Russian Marines which
I shot on their training base. Weird, they were so
nice and accommodating. "Sure, we'll put the tank
anywhere you want." I can't imagine that happening in
the US. See series here.
